Immigrant. Vegan. Writer. Romanian. Canadian. Poet. Zine-Maker. Freelancer. Feminist. Journalist.

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm Olga, a passionate writer and avid learner. My love affair with books and the joy of discovering new things drive me to explore diverse topics.

My academic journey began with a BA in Art History and Philosophy from the University of British Columbia, but my thirst for knowledge has led to my current pursuit of an MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes from Metanoia Institute.

I take pride in my contributions to reputable publications such as Inverse, Fodor’s, Business Insider, Reader’s Digest UK, and Paste Magazine among others. My poetry, featured in an anthology that raised funds for the child refugee charity Safe Passage, has also found its way into UK schools.

In both my creative and journalistic works, I delve into themes of third culture identity, mental health, childfree living, and alternative lifestyles. Drawing inspiration from literary and artistic giants like Roxane Gay, Miranda July, Melissa Broder, Anais Nin, Anne Sexton, Lydia Davis, and Sheila Heti, I aim to weave narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Beyond the written word, my interests encompass tarot, mental health advocacy, and indulging in vegan ice cream. Having lived in Romania, Canada, Australia, and currently the UK, pieces of home are scattered worldwide—embedded in the memories, friends, and family I've gained along the way.

I invite you to explore the world through my lens, where words become a bridge connecting hearts and minds. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
